You Can’t Rush God: The Beauty of Divine Timing

Image
๐Ÿ“–   “For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1 ๐Ÿ•Š ️  Patience isn’t just a virtue — it’s a sacred posture. ๐Ÿ’ญ  The Pressure to Keep Up We live in a world that idolizes speed. Career milestones, marriage, wealth, homeownership, global impact — society often frames these goals within rigid timelines. By 30, you're "supposed" to have it all figured out. By 40, you're "supposed" to be flourishing. If you’re not, you may feel like you’ve missed your turn. But here's the truth:  You are not late. You are not behind. You're simply on  a different timeline — a divine one. ๐Ÿ•ฐ ️ Divine Timing vs Cultural Timelines Modern culture promotes instant results. But the divine operates on a different clock — one guided by purpose, not pressure. “The vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come.” –  Habakkuk 2:3 God doesn’t just prepare the blessing — He prepares  ...

Guilty By Association

Image
Have you ever found yourself in trouble—not because of something you did, but because of who you were with? The Bible warns us in 1  Corinthians 15:33 (paraphrased) , “Do not be deceived: Bad company corrupts good morals.” This is not just good advice—it is a divine principle with serious consequences. Let’s take a sobering walk through Scripture to see just how real this is. 1. The Brothers of King Ahaziah (2 Kings 10:11–14) These men had not necessarily committed any personal offense, yet they were slaughtered by Jehu simply because they were part of the house of Ahab—a household that God had marked for judgment due to deep corruption and idolatry. Their guilt? Association. They were caught in a divine crossfire they didn’t start, but their ties to a condemned lineage cost them their lives. 2. King Jehoshaphat’s Close Call (1 Kings 22:1–44) Jehoshaphat, a righteous king, made the tragic decision to ally with Ahab, a wicked king of Israel. He wore royal robes into b...

Meditation on the word of God: Josh. 1:8 – “ 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you [c]  shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” รผ   Transforms you and takes you into the very throne of God. รผ   The Lord Jesus manifests Himself to you and makes Himself more real to you as you meditate on His word. – John 1:14 “ 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” รผ   The fire of God Sanctifies you as you meditate on His word. รผ   The word of God turns into a burning fire in your bones when you meditate on it. – Jer. 20:9 – “ But  His word  was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding  it  back, And I could not.” Psa. 39:3 -...

Joy is a Sacrifice That God Honours

Image
JOY IS A SACRIFICE THAT GOD HONOURS Neh. 8:11 – “ Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved. ” Psa. 27:6 - “ And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the  Lord .” Joy is actually a SACRIFICE that God honours. You oftentimes don't feel like being joyful but you choose to express joy in faith by smiling, laughing, dancing, expressing gratitude and praising God inspite of your visible circumstances. Joy is the access KEY into our inheritance in God. We call only draw out of the riches of the Wells of salvation through joy. As you are joyful, you are pulling into manifestation the spiritual blessings that you have been enriched with in heavenly places. Halleluiaaaaa! "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ," ~ Eph. 1:3 Inspite...

How To Begin Your Walk With the Lord After You Have Been Born Again – PART 1

Image
To desire to stay focused and walk with the Lord is great and would really please the Lord. But you must be willing to pay the price to follow the Lord with singleness of focus. Let no one deceive you. (Matt. 7:13-14; Luke 14:25-33). The reward of being focused on the Lord alone is unquantifiable. Your life can never be the same. It’ll be a life of constant dominion and victory over the many wiles of the devil, and that’s what Christ shed His Blood to bring to you (Rom. 5:17). You require grace to walk with the Lord and you must ask Him for that grace. “……Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss………” – James 4:2-3 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it be given to him. But let him ask in faith with no doubting……..” – James 1:5-6 “Yes, if you will cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for...

The Dangers of Complaining, Murmuring, Grumbling or Lamenting

Image
“ Then they despised the pleasant land; t hey did not believe His word, but complained in their tents, a nd did not heed the voice of the  Lord . Therefore He raised His hand in an oath against them, t o overthrow them in the wilderness, to overthrow their descendants among the nations, a nd to scatter them in the lands. ” - Psa. 106:24-27;   WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO COMPLAIN?           รผ   To continually whine over a negative situation in or around our lives that we are unhappy about.   รผ   To continually talk about our problems, discomfort, irritation and discontentment over any situation instead of declaring God’s power and speaking about our victory over that problem. We should hold the word of God and His promises to us as true, faithful and final over and above our negative circumstances. This was the attitude of Joshua and Caleb as against the evil attitude of the other 10 spies.- ...
