Have you ever found yourself in trouble—not because of something you did, but because of who you were with? The Bible warns us in 1  Corinthians 15:33 (paraphrased) , “Do not be deceived: Bad company corrupts good morals.” This is not just good advice—it is a divine principle with serious consequences. Let’s take a sobering walk through Scripture to see just how real this is. 1. JOY IS A SACRIFICE THAT GOD HONOURS Neh. 8:11 – “ Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved. ” Psa. 27:6 - “ And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the  Lord .” Joy is actually a SACRIFICE that God honours. You oftentimes don't feel like being joyful but you choose to express joy in faith by smiling, laughing, dancing, expressing gratitude and praising God inspite of your visible circumstances. Joy is the access KEY into our inheritance in God. We call only draw out of the riches of the Wells of salvation through joy. As you are joyful, you are pulling into manifestation the spiritual blessings that you have been enriched with in heavenly places. Halleluiaaaaa! To desire to stay focused and walk with the Lord is great and would really please the Lord. But you must be willing to pay the price to follow the Lord with singleness of focus. Let no one deceive you. (Matt. 7:13-14; Luke 14:25-33). The reward of being focused on the Lord alone is unquantifiable. Your life can never be the same. It’ll be a life of constant dominion and victory over the many wiles of the devil, and that’s what Christ shed His Blood to bring to you (Rom. 5:17). You require grace to walk with the Lord and you must ask Him for that grace. “……Yet you do not have because you do not ask. We should hold the word of God and His promises to us as true, faithful and final over and above our negative circumstances.
