THE VALUE OF MEDITATION ON GOD’S WORD
Meditation on the word of God:
Josh. 1:8 – “8This Book
of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[c] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may
observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make
your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
- ü Transforms you and takes you into the very throne of God.
- ü The Lord Jesus manifests Himself to you and makes Himself more real to you as you meditate on His word. – John 1:14 “14And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
- ü The fire of God Sanctifies you as you meditate on His word.
- ü The
word of God turns into a burning fire in your bones when you meditate on it. – Jer. 20:9 – “But His
word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was
weary of holding it back, And I could not.”
Psa. 39:3- “3My heart was hot within
me; While I was [a]musing, the fire burned.
Then I spoke with my tongue:”
- ü Meditation will bring light into your spirit that will deliver the wisdom required to resolve a prevalent issue in in your life or around you. – Job. 32:8 – “8But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.”
- ü Meditation on God’s word is bread that feeds your spirit,
soul and body.
John 6:35, 54-55; Deut. 8:3; Jer. 15:16
To walk in the Spirit, to abide in the Lord, both mean to continually meditate on the word of God. Meditation on God’s word produces a purified heart and righteous works.
John 15:5 – ““I am the vine, you are the
branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
Psa. 119:11 – “11Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You”
CHILD OF GOD, ARE YOU BATTLING WITH SIN AND ADDICTION? START CONSCIOUSLY MEDITATING ON THE LORD AND HIS WORD TODAY and watch what happens to you, in you and around you over a period of time!!
But if you are not born again, you must first repent and receive the Lord into your heart. Only then will the meditation on His word work for you – Psa. 50:16-17

receive Your life. Please wash my sins away, come into my heart and be my
Saviour and Lord. Thank You for saving me. Grant me Your grace to live everyday
