Joy is a Sacrifice That God Honours
JOY IS A SACRIFICE THAT GOD HONOURS
Neh. 8:11 – “Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.”Psa. 27:6 -“And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.”
Joy is actually a SACRIFICE that God honours. You oftentimes don't feel like being joyful but you choose to express joy in faith by smiling, laughing, dancing, expressing gratitude and praising God inspite of your visible circumstances. Joy is the access KEY into our inheritance in God. We call only draw out of the riches of the Wells of salvation through joy. As you are joyful, you are pulling into manifestation the spiritual blessings that you have been enriched with in heavenly places. Halleluiaaaaa!
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ," ~Eph. 1:3
Inspite of your circumstances, if you will choose to be joyful, you are offering a sacrifice to the Lord and He said in Psa. 50:5, Gather my saints together to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice. What is He gathering them for? To give them strength and peace. Strength and peace come when you are joyful.
“You will show me the path of life; in
your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore”
~ Psa. 16:11
“The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.” ~ Psa. 29:11
Neh. 8:10 also says, “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Halleluia!!!
When you are joyful, you receive not only strength and peace, but also all the riches found in God – unexplainable favour from men and God, mercy when you know you don’t deserve it, wisdom to solve problems all around you, unusual understanding of things, unwitty knowledge in your career or job, divine protection from evil, divine provision, divine healing, divine health, and so much more.
“Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ ”Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation.” ~ Isa. 12:2-3
Today, choose to be joyful even if you do not yet see a reason to be. Understand that God is in control. His plans and thoughts for you are for good and not for evil, to give you hope and bring you to a glorious end. (Jer. 29:11)
Understand that the father loves you dearly and expressed it by coming to earth in flesh to die for you even when you were deep in sin. What other expression of love can there ever be? Your understanding of the depth of God’s love is very liberating. This understanding will liberate you to trust the Lord with all your heart.
Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered into the heart of any man what God has prepared for you (1 Cor. 2:9). It is with joy that you can draw all of His goodness out to yourself (Isa. 12:3).
Let nothing or no one steal your
joy today. Be mindful to protect your heart from thieves.
So,
REJOICE in the Lord always. Again I will say, REJOICE! (Phil. 4:4)
