THE VALUE OF MEDITATION ON GOD’S WORD
Meditation on the word of God: Josh. 1:8 – “ 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you [c] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” ü Transforms you and takes you into the very throne of God. ü The Lord Jesus manifests Himself to you and makes Himself more real to you as you meditate on His word. – John 1:14 “ 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” ü The fire of God Sanctifies you as you meditate on His word. ü The word of God turns into a burning fire in your bones when you meditate on it. – Jer. 20:9 – “ But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not.” Psa. 39:3 -...
